Stalls
ECS owns many (E.A.S.A. and F.A.A.* approved) stalls. Our stalls can accommodate three large horses. Its internal, full height partitions can be adjusted to vary the width of the stall into a more spacious double stall, for instance for mares with foals or for horses that require more space for travelling.
Because we only use our own stalls, we can guarantee your horses are transported comfortable, stress-free and in a safe way.
ECS constantly improves the construction of the stalls according to the latest technology. By using high quality materials, safety and comfort of the horses can be guaranteed. An innovation we use is the ‘heavy duty pallet’. This type of pallet absorbs the movements of the stall better so the horses feel and hear less.
Collapsible stalls
Especially for flights to the Far East and South America, we (in close cooperation with the manufacturer), have developed a so-called, ‘collapsible stall’. This unique foldable stall is certified according to the E.A.S.A. and F.A.A.* rules and regulations.
Empty stalls consume valuable cargo space on board of an aircraft. ECS came up with the creative idea of a collapsible stall, which can be folded to a minimum size within only 15 minutes. Four stalls of this type piled up, consume the same space as one normal stall. Naturally, the ECS collapsible stalls have the same characteristics and luxury as the other stalls.
Some characteristics:
- Non-slip ramps ensure smooth and safe loading of your bloodstock.
- Stalls are made of the highest quality material and are well ventilated.
- Stalls are equipped with cushions on the sides and solid bars or kick-doors at the rear.
- Load from the rear, exit from the front.
- During transport, the doors are tightly closed and impossible to be opened by the horses.
- Stalls have easy access for grooms.
Stall lease service
Our stalls are available for lease. It is possible to lease a stall for a short period (days or weeks) as well as for a longer period (months or years). Our stalls are suitable for the following type of aircraft:
